Ramallah-Eng. Mazen Ghoneim signed with Mr. Andrea Nassi, representative of Austria in Palestine the technical support agreement for the continuation of project coordination unit in implementing projects of the program which includes the establishment of  small desalination plants, Central and sweetener station extensions ,wastewater treatment plants in addition to reuse for wastewater in agriculture.

The agreement also includes comprehensive outcomes of the project related to follow up and monitor the implementation of projects and the preparation of assessment reports and technical reports in order to obtain funding for projects, coordination with the institutions and supporters in  the water sector, to follow up the implementation of engineering designs for the central desalination project, as well as coordination between donors and executing projects and contribute to the preparation of manuals and unit works through direct supervision with the head of the water authority.

According to the agreement, the duration of the project will last for four years ending in 2021, with a total value of 900, 000 euros.
