Ghoneim meets the Joint Services Council

Head of Water Authority met with the Joint Services Council for villages of Beit Leqia and Kharbatha El-Mesbah to discuss the problems of the region concerning the problem of wastewater and the region's dependence on absorbent drilling, and the daily suffering of citizens as a result of lack of a sewage network in addition to the cost of disposal of the water through sewage tanks,as well as the pollution resulting from the lack of safe places to get rid of this water.

In addition to the Council's request to change the main water line carrier supplied to the area from the source and transform with diameter of 8 inches to 14 inches length of 5 km, and the problem of damage part of the network and the lack of water access to high areas in the region..

For his part, Minister Ghoneim stressed the work on a technical study by the   Water Authority engineers to solve the problem of the Highlands by studying the available options on either build a reservoir and a conveyor line for each village or the operation and rehabilitation of the water tank Beit Aor al-Tahta.

With regard to the issue of sanitation, Minister Ghoneim instructed the specialists in the water authority to conduct a full study and come up with the best possible solutions can be implemented as soon as possible to overcome the problem which has a concern.
