Water and Energy Nexus Project - Northern West Bank Water and Energy Nexus Project

Project Goal: It aims to significantly improve the lives of residents in the region by developing and improving the quality of drinking water and sanitation services. It aims to provide alternatives and options for achieving self-sufficiency and independence in the water and energy sectors as a pillar and foundation for building a Palestinian state. This paves the way for renewable energy to solve the energy crisis in Palestine, and for future energy sources for wastewater treatment and purification plants. Improving sustainable access to water and sanitation networks, as well as "expanding the scope of wastewater management," are the strategic objectives of the Palestinian Authority's Strategic Development Plan for the period 2017-2022.
